Puzzles also figure prominently into the game and players will have to gather clues as well as items to solve them. Weapons, ammo, and medicine are commodities that have to be managed carefully in Resident Evil 2, because their supply is limited. Zombies, as well as other creatures, stalk Leon and Claire throughout their adventure. Players will have to explore several locations in the remains of Racoon City that include the police station, sewers, and the streets of the town. Both characters have their own stories and adventures. Leon and Claire are the main playable characters and can be chosen from the start of the game. Claire and Leon must find a way to survive the outbreak and deal with the evil plot behind it.
